Mr. Curtis S. Lane is the Founder of MTS Health Investors, LLC and serves as its Senior Managing Director. Mr. Lane founded MTS Health Investors, LLC in March 2000. He devotes substantial time both in making private equity investments on behalf of the fund and to the strategic advisory business of MTS Health Partners. Mr. Lane is the Founder and Director at Surgical Care Affiliates. He founded the firm in March 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Lane was a Partner at Evercore ... Capital Partners, focusing on advisory and investment opportunities in healthcare. From 1986 to 1998, he lead one of the most active healthcare investment banking groups on Wall Street, completing 107 financing transactions with an aggregate value of $17.4 billion and 56 mergers and acquisitions and advisory assignments with an aggregate value of $20.4 billion over the last five years under his leadership. Previously, Mr. Lane founded and managed the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. As the Head of the Healthcare Group at Bear Stearns, he either directly handled or oversaw numerous financing and advisory transactions across all segments of healthcare. Mr. Lane advised and financed companies through all stages of their development and maturation, ranging from private equity placements to public offerings of debt and equity securities. Particularly, he focused on the initiation and consummation of strategic mergers and acquisitions transactions within the context of an overall investment banking relationship. Mr. Lane initiated transactions for and served as a Financial Advisor to a variety of companies including The BLP Group Companies, Charter Medical, Copley Pharmaceuticals, Counsel Corporation, and Damon Corporation. He was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns in 1990. Mr. Lane was on the Operating Committee of the investment banking division and was on the Board of Directors of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. He had joined Bear Stearns in 1985. Prior to that, Mr. Lane was a Generalist Investment Banker in the Corporate Finance department at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co., Inc. He was President of the Lifeline Center for Child Development. Mr. Lane serves as a Director of The Lifeline Center for Child Development. He has been a Director of Alliance Healthcare Services since April 16, 2007. He serves as a Director of Loving Care Agency, Inc., Proven Pharmaceuticals, LLC, Surgical Care Affiliates, LLC, and Senior Home Care, Inc. Mr. Lane is a Trustee of the Wharton Undergraduate Board. Mr. Lane is a Director of The Lifeline Center for Child Development. He is an Emeritus Board member of PENN Medicine. He is a Director of America’s Camp Foundation, and charitable organizations. He was a Director of IASIS Healthcare LLC, Promedco Management Co., LINC Capital, Inc., and Alere Medical, Inc. Mr. Lane has been active in numerous charitable organizations.
