From 1995 to 2001, she was a General Partner at Mayfield and invested in early-stage medical technology and biopharmaceutical companies, personally incubating a number of successful companies including Northstar Neuroscience, Inc., and Heartstream, Inc. Ms. Hutton’s venture career began at Mayfield Fund in 1993 and served as its Venture Partner in the Health Care Technology Group. Prior to joining Mayfield in 1993, she held senior management positions at Nellcor, Inc. and positions in marketing and business development from 1986 to 1990. Ms. Hutton served as a General Manager of Transgenic Laboratory Products Division at GenPharm International, Inc., from 1991 to 1993. She has been a Director of Chimerix, Inc since February 2012. She has been a Director of Labrys Biologics, Inc. since January 3, 2013. She serves as a Director of Butterfly Health, Inc., Calibra Medical, Dermira Inc, ALDEA Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Transcend Medical, Inc., ReVision Optics, Inc. and Spaltudaq Corp.
