As the Chief Executive Officer of the Pharmacia & Upjohn Company, LLC, he led the Upjohn project. Prior to joining Upjohn in 1994, Dr. Zabriskie was at Merck as an Executive Vice President of Merck and Co., Inc. and President of Merck Manufacturing Division. Dr. Zabriskie began his career there as a Chemist in 1965 and held a variety of positions in quality control, manufacturing, and marketing including the President of Merck Sharp & Dohme and Executive Vice President of Merck and Co., Inc.
