Dr. Matthew Rieke, Matt, M.D. is a Partner at Quaker BioVentures since 2005. Dr. Rieke was a Founding Principal at Quaker BioVentures. Dr. Rieke serves as a Director of Transport Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Kolis Scientific, Neotropix, Inc., Nitric Bio, Inc., Tarsa Therapeutics, Inc. and TearScience, Inc. He has been a Director of TransEnterix, Inc. since October 2009. He serves as a Board Observer of Neuronetics. Dr. Rieke is a Director and Member of Life Sciences Investment Advisory Committee at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Investment Arm. Prior to graduate school, he researched novel plasma-based therapeutics and bone marrow transplantation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Rieke holds an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. from Colgate University.
