Mr. William H. Draper, III, Bill, is the General Partner at Draper Investment Company. Mr. Draper also Co-Founded Draper Investment Company. He serves as the Managing Partner and General Partner at Draper Richards, L.P. and Draper International Funds. He has over 40 years of experience and is one of America's first venture capitalists. Mr. Draper was a Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Sutter Hill Ventures. During his 20 years as the Senior Partner of Sutter Hill, he ... helped to organize and finance several hundred high technology manufacturing companies. Mr. Draper served from 1981 to 1986 as the President and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. In 1986, he became the Head of the United Nations Development Program. Mr. Draper has been a Director of Prolacta Bioscience since June 15, 2005. He serves as Director of Blue Vector Systems. He serves as Director of BizWorld Foundation. He was a Member of Advisory Board of Garage Technology Ventures, LLC. He also serves as Co-Chairman of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. Mr. Draper has been a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the President's Council on International Activities at Yale University. Mr. Draper was the Chairman of the World Affairs Council of Northern California, Board of the American Conservatory Theatre, Chairman of Institute of International Education, and a Trustee at Yale University. He has also received awards from the International Business Forum, the National Venture Capital Association, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the Institute of International Education. In 2005, he received the Vision Award from SD Forum and was inducted into the Dow Jones Venture Capital Hall of Fame. In 2006, Mr. Draper received the Silicon Valley Fast 50 Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Distinguished Service Award from the Institute of International Education. Recently, he authored the book, The Startup Game: Inside the Partnership between Venture Capitalists and Entrepreneurs. In addition, he served on numerous Boards of prestigious political, philanthropic and business organizations. Mr. Draper received M.B.A, with distinction, from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a B.A. degree from Yale University.
