Mr. Charles L. Kaye, Chip, has been a Co-President and a Member of the Executive Management Group of Warburg Pincus LLC since 2001. Mr. Kaye joined Warburg Pincus in 1986 and was instrumental in the launch and development of its Asian operations. Mr. Kaye is responsible for Warburg Pincus's strategy, oversight of investment policy and decisions, leadership of executive management group, and the coordination of limited partner communications. He has experience in a variety ... of industry sector groups including consumer, retail, industrial, and technology. In 1994, Mr. Kaye established Warburg Pincus's Asian operations in Hong Kong. Upon his return to New York in 1999, he assumed management responsibility for Warburg Pincus's healthcare and life sciences investments. Mr. Kaye is also the Treasurer and a Director of The Global Alliance for TB Drug Development. He spent 16 years working as a private equity investor. He is also a Director of the United Nations Association of the United States of America and New York City Investment Fund Manager, Inc. Mr. Kaye is a Co-Chairman of New York City Investment Fund Manager, Inc. He has been a Director of New York City Investment Fund Manager since 2010. Mr. Kaye served as a Director of Jarden Corp. since September 20, 2004 and served as Director of Rediff.Com India Limited from June 1999 to December 17, 2002. He served as a Director of Arch Capital Group Ltd. He served as a Member of International Advisory Board at Council on Foreign Relations, Inc. Mr. Kaye holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas.
