Dr. Richard L. Sandor, Ph.D., Dr. sc.h.c.m., is the Founder of Chicago Climate Exchange Inc. and has been its Chairman since January 2003. and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Sandor serves as President of Indosuez Capital. Dr. Sandor served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Environmental Financial Products LLC from March 1998 to 2003. He served as Vice President of Chicago Board of Trade. He served as President and Chief Economist of Chicago Board ... of Trade for more than 3 years. He served as Senior Markets Executive with several financial institutions including Kidder Peabody, Banque Indosuez, and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Dr. Sandor is widely recognized as a founder of the interest rate derivatives markets. He has held numerous senior executive positions in the financial services industry as well as numerous Academic appointments. Dr. Sandor earned the reputation as the principal architect of the interest-rate futures market. In November 2004, He was the recipient of an honorary degree of doctor of science, honoris causa, by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) of Zurich, Switzerland for his pioneer work in the design and implementation of innovative and flexible market-based mechanisms to address environmental concerns. He serves as Member of International Advisory Council at Recipco Holdings Ltd. Dr. Sandor received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
