Mr. Philip Rosedale serves as an Advisor of 15Five, Inc. Mr. Rosedale founded Linden Research, Inc. and served as Interim Chief Executive Officer from June 2010 to December 23, 2010. Mr. Rosedale also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Linden Research, Inc. Mr. Rosedale has an extensive background in the development and pioneering of streaming technology, having built his first computer in 4th grade, and started his first computer software company while still in ... high school. He served as Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of RealNetworks for three and a half years, where he was responsible for the development and launch of RealVideo, RealSystem 5.0, and RealSystem G2. Before joining RealNetworks, he ran his own software company, Automated Management Systems, which in 1995 developed FreeVue, a low-bitrate Video Conferencing product for Internet-connected PC's, resulting in the acquisition of his company in early 1996 by RealNetworks. The acquisition of Mr. Rosedale and his team by RealNetworks in early 1996 was the basis for the RealVideo product. He served as Venture Consultant at Accel Management Co, Inc. (alternate name: Accel Partners). In April 1999, he returned to San Francisco, joined Accel Partners as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and began the basic research that would become the technology behind Second Life. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Linden Research, Inc. Mr. Rosedale serves as a Director of Linden Research, Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Mpire Corporation, AdXpose, Inc. and BPG Inc. Mr. Rosedale holds a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of California at San Diego.
