Dr. Leonard M. Harlan co-founded Castle Harlan, Inc. Dr. Harlan was the President at Castle Harlan and co-founded the firm in 1987. Dr. Harlan began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1965, where he was the Vice President and stockholder. From 1969 to 1995, Dr. Harlan was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at The Harlan Company. He is a Director of Bulgarian American Enterprise Fund and also serves a Director of StackTeck Systems Incorporated, Carret ... and Company, Associated Packaging Technologies, United Malt Holdings, Inc., Delaware Group of Mutual Funds, Ion Track Instruments since January 2000 and Gravograph Industries International. Previously, Dr. Harlan was a Director of Worldwide Flight Services, The Ryland Group, MAG Aerospace Industries, CHAMP Ventures Pty Ltd., and Smarte Carte. He was a Director of Delaware Management Holdings. Dr. Harlan is the Vice Chairman of the Medical College Capital Campaign. He was a Member of the Harvard Business School Visiting Committee. Dr. Harlan was the Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee at the Harvard Business School Alumni Association. He was a Director at the Harvard Business School Club of Greater New York for nine years. Dr. Harlan holds a Doctorate and a Masters degree, with distinction from the Harvard Business School. He also holds an M.E. and an M.B.A. Dr. Harlan received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Cornell University.
