Mr. Samuel A. Hamacher, Sam, is the President since May 2007 and Member of Advisory Board of Harbour Group since 1997. He joined the firm in 1988 as a Vice President of Finance. In January 1992, Mr. Hamacher was named as an Executive Vice President at the firm, with responsibility for Corporate Development. Since 1992, Mr. Hamacher has had oversight responsibilities for over 125 acquisitions in 28 industries, five initial public offerings, five secondary offerings, three ... cash mergers, and 15 private divestitures. During this period, he has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of five Harbour Group public companies and became a Member of the Board of Directors of the firm in 1997. Prior to 1988, Mr. Hamacher was at Vice President of Finance at Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. Prior to this, he was employed at Emerson Electric Company, where he spent 10 years and held various management positions. Mr. Hamacher has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Greenfield industries, DT Industries, OmniQuip International, Lincoln Industrial Corp., and Flair Corporation. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Chapter from 1994 to 2000. Mr. Hamacher is a Member of the University of Missouri's College of Business Strategic Development Board. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Family Support Network and the American Liver Foundation. Mr. Hamacher earned an M.B.A. from St. Louis University in 1982 and a B.S. and a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Missouri in 1974.
