Ms. Mary T. McDowell served as the Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President of Nokia Corporation from 2008 to 2010 and its Head of Non-Smartphone Handsets. Ms. McDowell served as Executive Vice President, Mobile Phones at Nokia Corporation until June 30, 2012 and its Member of Nokia Leadership Team from 2004 to June 30, 2012. She served as Senior Vice President and General Manager - Industry Standard Server Group at Compaq Computer Corp., from 1998 to 2002 and Vice President of Marketing, Server Products Division from 1996 to 1998. She joined Compaq in 1986 as a systems engineer and has served in a variety of management positions. During her 17-year career at HP-Compaq, she had a successful track record of building new business and is widely respected as an industry innovator. She has been a Director of Autodesk, Inc. since 2010 and NAVTEQ Corporation since July 10, 2008. She was Member of the Board of Visitors for the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois. She was named as one of the 10 "Top Women in Wireless" in July 2008 by Fierce Wireless. Ms. McDowell holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois.
