Mr. Freeman served as a First Vice President of Banking at The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development since June 1, 2006 and oversees all banking operations. From February 1995 to February 1999, he was a partner at Chase Capital Partners Previously, Mr. Freeman was Managing Partner at Baring Mexico Private Equity Fund II, L.P., Baring Latin America Partners LLC, Baring Mexico Private Equity Fund, L.P., and South America Private Equity Growth Fund, L.P. He was General Partner of J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC. He served Head of Capital Markets for Latin America of International Finance Corporation (IFC) for 13 years. From July 1982 to January 1995, Mr. Freeman held several positions at International Finance Corporation, including the Director of the Asia Investment Department and was responsible for its investments in China, India, South-East Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Earlier, Mr. Freeman served as a Manager of Investments for Mexico and Central America and Manager of Latin America Capital Markets Division of IFC from 1986 to 1992. Before that, he served as a Loan Officer at The World Bank Group and also served on the Consulting Staff of Econ, Inc. and Mathematica, Inc. He serves as a Member of International Advisory Board at Russian Direct Investment Fund. He has been a Director of SkyAuction.com, Inc. since April 2000. He serves as a Director of Mastersaf. Mr. Freeman holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Engineering from Princeton University's school of engineering and also holds a M.P.A. degree from Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is fluent in Spanish.
