He served as Chief Executive Officer of Foote Cone & Belding, Inc. He serves as the Chairman of Foote, Cone & Belding Advertising, Inc. He served as the Chairman and Chairman Emeritus with Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide (now Draftfcb), a position he held between June 2005 and December 2010. Mr. Ryan has been a Director of True North Communications Inc. since August 1994. He has been a Director of FreshDirect, LLC since April 26, 2006 and of Counsel RB Capital Inc. since August 8, 2011. He served as a Director of Interpublic Group of Companies Inc. He served as a Director of Mad Catz Interactive Inc. from September 2001 to March 23, 2004. Mr. Ryan received his B.A. in History from Fordham College and his M.B.A. in Marketing from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania.
