Dr. Joshua LaBaer, Josh, M.D., Ph.D. Co-founded Harvard Institute of Proteomics of Harvard Medical School. Dr. LaBaer serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Proteome Research. Dr. LaBaer serves as an Attending Physician of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and as an Associate Physician of Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is the inventor of a new protein array technology called Nucleic Acid Programmable Protein Arrays (NAPPA). He has an academic appointment at the ... Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology of Harvard Medical School. Dr. LaBaer serves as Director of Harvard Institute of Proteomics, where he has established and implemented the Academic/Industrial Proteomics Consortium. Dr. LaBaer serves as Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Genstruct, Inc., Plexera Bioscience LLC, Selventa, Inc., Protein Forest, Inc., and GeneXP Biosciences Inc. He also pursued research interests at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in the areas of breast cancer, mammalian cell cycle regulation and cell cycle checkpoint genes. Dr. LaBaer holds MD/PhD degrees from University of California, San Francisco, where he studied steroid regulation of DNA transcription and protein-DNA interactions. He completed medical school and graduate school at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his clinical studies at the Brigham and Women's Hospital
