He was responsible for all legal affairs of TBS and all its subsidiaries worldwide and was involved in the merger of TBS and Time Warner, as well as involved in every major transaction since 1978 including the acquisitions of MGM/UA Entertainment, Hanna Barbera, Castle Rock, and New Line Cinema. Before joining CNN/TBS, Mr. Korn was a Litigator with Troutman Sanders, specializing in civil litigation involving media, entertainment, and telecommunications issues. He serves as a Director of PrecisionIR. He has been Independent Director of Brown Shoe Co. Inc. since August 2004. He serves as a Director of World Hunger Year and serves as a Trustee of Vassar College and The Schenck School. Mr. Korn serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Alvarez & Marsal, LLC. He serves on several for-profit and not-for-profit Boards. He served as a Director of Public Broadcasting Service since August 2004. Mr. Korn is an Attorney and a Member at the Georgia bar.
