Background

Mr. Armando Pereira serves as a Founding Partner of Altice One SAS (alternate name Groupe Altice). Mr. Pereira served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of FlexLight Networks Inc. Mr. Pereira Co-Founded Alloptic Inc. in 1999 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2001. He helped pioneer the concept of Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) and a founding member of the Ethernet in the First Mile Alliance (EFMA). Mr. Pereira ... has over twenty three years experience in engineering and marketing of high-technology systems for the telecommunications industry. He has been very successful in developing and marketing high-technology products, and has a proven track record in leading innovation-driven organizations. Prior to Alloptic, he was Co-founder of a startup developing a multi-services platform, Senior Director of Marketing of a Digital Loop Carrier company. He had his own consulting practice and started in the high technology industry as a Design Engineer in 1982. From August 2002 to April 2005, Mr. Pereira served as Vice President / General Manager to establish a new business unit - the Optical Business Unit (OBU) of Centillium Communications Inc. He developed its operating plan, hired a diverse and geographically dispersed team, and established strategic partnerships with top tier OEMs and network operators in the US, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. Mr. Pereira serves as a Director of Telecommunications Industry Association. He was a Member of Supervisory Board of CompleTel Europe N.V. Mr. Pereira has been a member of ANSI / T1-Commitee standards bodies, and was the editor of the IEEE 1007 standard. He serves as a Member of Board of Governors at the Electronics Industry Alliance (EIA). He currently sits on the Board of Directors at the TIA in Washington DC and on the Board of Governors at the EIA in Washington DC. Mr. Pereira served as Director of FlexLight Networks Inc. Mr. Pereira holds a BSEE from San Jose State University, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara.
