Mr. Richard H. Stowe, Rick is a Co-founder and General Partner of Health Enterprise Partners. Mr. Stowe served as a Senior Advisor to CB Health Ventures’ two funds, which he joined in 2002. From 1999 to 2005, he served as also a Senior Advisor to Capital Counsel, LLC. Previously, he served as a General Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe from April 1979 to December 1998. From 1970 to 1979, he was the Principal at New Court Securities Corporation (Rothschild Inc.) ... in its venture capital and corporate finance group. Mr. Stowe has been active in private equity business since 1970. From 1965 to 1967, he was a Systems Engineer at IBM Corporation. Mr. Stowe served as the Chairman of Telemedia Accelerator. He has been a Director of HMS Holding Corporation since 1989 and New American Healthcare Corp. since January 1996. He serves as a Director of HealthTech, ContinuumRx, Brim Holding Company, Inc., Behavioral Centers of America, LLC., Principle Pharmacy Group, Chamberlin Edmonds Holdings, Inc., and MobileMD, Inc. Mr. Stowe served as a Director of MedQuist Inc since December 1998; The Cerplex Group, Inc. since 1996 and Emcare Holdings, Inc. He is a Trustee of Auburn Theological Seminary and Trustee Emeritus of Bowdoin College. He serves as an Adjunct Trustee at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is also a Member of Harvard Business School’s Healthcare Initiative Advisory Board and Harvard School of Public Health’s Health Policy and Management Executive Council, and a Former Member of Harvard Business School’s Board of Dean’s Advisors. Mr. Stowe received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School in 1970, where he was a Baker Scholar and a B.S.E.E. degree from the Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in 1965.
