Mr. Robert D. Duncan is the Managing Principal, Co-Founder, and Chairman of Pearlmark Real Estate Partners (earlier called Transwestern Investment Company, L.L.C.). In 1978, he formed Transwestern Commercial Services and directed its expansion into a diversified real estate company specializing in development, management, leasing, and disposition of institutional-grade properties. Mr. Duncan has directed the firm's expansion from a small investment building company based ... in Texas to a major national diversified real estate organization today. He began his career with the Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas and was the Partner responsible for commercial operations in San Antonio when he left in 1978 to form Transwestern. Mr. Duncan is the Chairman of Transwestern Commercial Services, L.L.C. He is an active Member of the Real Estate Round Table and of the Urban Land Institute; Founding Director of the University of Texas Real Estate Finance and Investment Center; Member of the World President Organization; Board Member, Greater Houston Community Foundation; and Board Member of the Greater Houston YMCA and Transwestern Strategic Partners III, L.L.C. Mr. Duncan has been actively involved in various civic and charitable initiatives. He received a B.B.A. in the Business Honors Program, an M.B.A. in Finance, and an L.L.B. degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
