Shanta Chairperson Adyar Cancer Institute launched the product in the presence of eminent cardiologists. The special feature of this product is to insure persons who have undergone CABG /PTCA procedure between 6 months – 3 years prior to inception of policy. This cover for heart ailments also includes protection for regular in patient hospitalization for other illnesses as well. There are two plans available under this scheme viz., Silver & Gold. Both plans have no sub limits for expenditure. Under Gold plan, medical management is also available for meeting expenditure in case of complications related to heart disease with appropriate drugs in Intensive Care Unit /High Dependency Unit/Ward.
