Audubon Engineering Company, LLC has promoted Mark Roberts to Executive Vice President of Operations for the company. Roberts will directly oversee the operational business groups within the engineering company. Effective October 1, 2012, the following Audubon business groups will transition to Roberts' leadership: Baton Rouge, Covington, Denver, Houston Central Engineering, Houston Onshore, Houston Offshore, Metairie, Operations Integration & Project Controls, Pipeline & Terminals, Procurement & Document Control, as well as all West Virginia engineering activities. Most recently, Roberts held the position of Vice President of Houston Onshore for Audubon Engineering.

Audubon Risk Management Solutions announced that Audubon Engineering Company, LLC has obtained its first international contract from Audubon's new Bogota office with Shell Exploration & Production (SEPCO). The contract involves Baruque's working onsite at Los Lanos with Ecopetrol and SEPCO to help deliver a safe and incident-free drilling campaign and to ensure that it meets Shell's and Ecopetrol's strict HSE policies and procedures.

Audubon Engineering Company, LLC announced plans to open a regional office in Charleston. The Gulf Coast-based firm expects to have approximately 30 workers in Charleston by mid-2012. Additional staffing needs will be determined by the market. Audubon serves the oil, gas and petrochemical and refining industries. The company cited one attraction of opening an operation in West Virginia included the natural gas potential of the Marcellus Shale formation in West Virginia and surrounding states.
