Janvey claims that the law firms allegedly helped Stanford's Stanford Financial Group misappropriate money by giving false opinions and referring clients to Stanford in exchange for benefits. In his claim, Janvey accuses Breazeale Sachse specifically of helping Stanford purchase Southern Trust Co., which allegedly helped Stanford establish his investment retirement account section of an alleged $7 billion Ponzi scheme.
Adams and Reese, L.L.P. announced Scott Cheatham, Jaimm Collins, Shelly Spansel and Lauren Tafaro have been elected partners.
