American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has named Clar Rosso as vice-president, member learning and competency. In her role leading the Publications, Conferences and Web Events, and Professional Development teams, Rosso will be responsible for growing existing AICPA product lines, identifying and creating new products and delivery platforms to advance the CPA profession and increase the competitiveness of CPA members, firms and employers. She will work closely with the Communications, Marketing, Strategy, People and Innovation teams, and CPA2Biz, to enhance member value, while maintaining the AICPA's commitment to group study products. She will report to Anthony Pugliese, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining AICPA, Rosso worked as Chief Operating Officer of the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) and the CalCPA Education Foundation. She had previously served as CalCPA's division director, programs and communications.
