General Dynamics Information Technology announced that Stanley Tyliszczak has appointed in the new role of staff vice president for technology integration and chief engineer. In this role, Tyliszczak will be responsible for managing the company's long-term technology plan and roadmap. Tyliszczak will report to Rich Mendelowitz, vice president and chief technology officer. He will advise and support efforts to expand the company's cyber security, data center consolidation, cloud computing, big data and IT infrastructure capabilities in order to strengthen new business pursuits. Tyliszczak will also oversee internal programs to promote technology innovation and collaboration across the company. Most recently, Tyliszczak he was a member of TechAmerica's Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in U.S. Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD2).
