Plusnet and DMSL Sign Agreement to Drive SMB Channel Dealer Recruitment and Sales

DMSL and Plusnet have signed an agreement that signals their joint commitment to delivering great broadband products into the channel. The two companies will draw on the respective strengths of their brands in the business telecoms market to recruit and develop dealers to deliver Plusnets comprehensive range of broadband services to the small business community across the UK. Plusnet Launches Unlimited Broadband for GBP 2.50 Per Month

Plusnet has launched a new deal, providing unlimited broadband for GBP 2.50 per month. Customers will be able to take advantage of the deal from Boxing Day until 25 February 2014. The package will get unlimited broadband for the first twelve months with a Plusnet phone line, normally at GBP 9.99 per month. Line rental costs GBP 10.99 per month; it is normally priced at GBP 14.50 per month.

Plusnet Appoints Andy Baker as its New CEO

Plusnet has appointed Andy Baker as its new CEO. Mr. Baker will be based at the company's Sheffield headquarters and will take full responsibility for the commercial, operations and service performance of the firm, which claims to be the UK's third fastest growing Internet Services Provider (ISP). Prior to this Mr. Baker was the commercial director for TV and Gaming at BT. Mr. Baker, 41, takes over from Jamie Ford who has been at the helm for three and a half years in charge, during which time the company has been through a period of growth. Mr. Ford is leaving the company to join BT Business as managing director of IT Services.
