Boyd Gaming Corp. president and CEO Keith Smith has announced three recent promotions at Blue Chip Casino, LLC. In addition to Blue Chip, Bogich will oversee operations at Par-A-Dice Casino in Peoria, Ill. and Sam's Town in Tunica, Miss. Bogich joined Blue Chip in 2007 as vice president and general manager. He was previously the general manager at Boyd's casino in Tunica. Sara Ellis has been promoted to the position of regional director of marketing for the Midwest region. In addition to directing marketing at Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa in Michigan City, she will direct marketing efforts at Par-A-Dice Casino, Peoria, Ill. and Sam's Town in Tunica, Miss. Ellis, who joined Blue Chip in 2002 as director of marketing, was most recently the senior director of marketing. Jack Elia has been named assistant general manager at Blue Chip. Elia, who joined Boyd Gaming in 2003 as director of food and beverage at Sam's Town, joined Blue Chip in 2006 and was promoted to director of operations in 2011. In his new role, he will be responsible for non-gaming operations, including food and beverage, hotel, meetings and event sales, facilities, marine operations and security.
