Public Mutual Launches PB Global Equity Fund

Public Bank's wholly-owned subsidiary, Public Mutual, has launched a new fund, the PB Global Equity Fund (PBGEF). PBGEF is a global equity fund that seeks to achieve capital growth over the medium to long-term period by investing in global markets. PBGEF gives investors an opportunity to participate in the long-term growth potential of a diversified portfolio of blue chip stocks, index stocks and growth stocks listed on selected global markets, including the United States, Europe and the Asia Pacific. It said the PBGEF would invest between 75% and 98% of its net asset value (NAV) in equity. The initial issue price of PBGEF is 25 sen per unit during the 21-day initial offer period of Oct. 7-27, while the minimum initial investment is MYR 1,000 and the minimum additional investment, MYR 100.

Public Mutual Bhd Declares Dividend for Four Funds for Financial Year ended April 30, 2014

Public Mutual Bhd, has declared distributions for four of its funds for the financial year ended April 30, 2014. It declared 3.00 sen per unit for PB Dynamic Allocation Fund, 3.00 sen per unit for Public Islamic Dividend Fund, 0.40 sen per unit for Public Islamic Asia Dividend Fund and 1.50 sen per unit for Public Far-East Telco and Infrastructure Fund.

Public Mutual Bhd Declares Dividend for Eight Funds for Financial Year Ended Dec. 31, 2013

Public Mutual Bhd declared dividends for eight of its funds for the financial year ending Dec. 31, 2013. Public Mutual said the gross dividend for Public Savings Fund was three sen per unit, Public Islamic Savings Fund (0.75 sen), Public Focus Select Fund (two sen) and PB Growth Sequel Fund (1.50 sen). The Public Islamic Enhanced Bond Fund distributed the dividend of five sen per unit while Public Strategic Bond Fund was 3.50 sen, Public Islamic Strategic Bond Fund was also 3.50 sen and PB Mixed Asset Conservative Fund 0.25 sen.
