Sun Capital Enters Race To buy Keepmoat

Sun Capital Partners, Inc. has entered the race to buy Keepmoat Limited. Sun Capital is among three remaining suitors. Final offers, which are expected to have valued Keepmoat at somewhere in the region of £400 million, were tabled last week, with Apollo Management, another buyout firm, understood to have been among the bidders. Insiders said that Sun Capital could acquire Keepmoat with backing from TDR Capital. The auction of Keepmoat is being overseen by JP Morgan.

Sun Capital Reportedly Eyes Jones Group's Assets

Sun Capital Partners, Inc. is interested in acquiring the assets of The Jones Group Inc. (NYSE:JNY), according to New York Post. New York Post cited sources and added that Sun Capital's Marc Leder is among the private-equity firms interested in the assets of Jones Group.

Sun Capital Reportedly Plans To Divest Emerald Performance

Sun Capital Partners, Inc. is looking divesting Emerald Performance Materials LLC, four sources familiar with the matter said. Sun Capital has retained Lazard Ltd to advise on the process. Emerald Performance is expected to be valued more than $700 million. The sources stated that from other private equity firms are likely to be interested in acquiring Emerald Performance.
