The Hertz Corporation has announced that Christian Cunningham has joined the Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) as its Chief Human Resources Officer. The role has been newly created for HERC as Hertz prepares to separate its car and equipment rental businesses into standalone, publicly traded companies as announced in March 2014. He joins HERC from DFC Global Corporation where he served as Vice President, Corporate HR and HR Services since June 2013 with global responsibility for all human resource matters for corporate staff.

The Hertz Corporation announced that Brian P. MacDonald, formerly Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunoco Inc., has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC). As part of his responsibilities, MacDonald will lead HERC's transition into a new, publicly traded company following its planned separation from Hertz, which is expected to close by early 2015. Mr. MacDonald succeeds Lois I. Boyd, who has been with Hertz since 2007. Ms. Boyd has previously informed the company of her decision to retire her full time position after a 41-year career although she has agreed to continue with HERC in an advisory capacity.

Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation has expanded its Denver, Colorado operations with the launch of a new satellite facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming's capital. The Cheyenne location serves the southern Wyoming and northern Colorado oil plays and also operates onsite at a key services partner location. The Hertz Equipment Cheyenne facility provides a wide range of industrial fleet for rent or sale. The equipment includes aerial lifts, earth moving, forklifts, heaters, hoses, light plants, portable power and power distribution products, speciality pumps and compressors, and other oil field specific fleet. The company can also set up on-site operations around the clock with full time staff where needed in order to minimize downtime and maximize production. The Cheyenne facility is located at 715 E 15th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Its hours of operation are 7:00am -- 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
