Xpert Financial, Inc. announced that it has hired Robert D. Valdez as its head of capital markets. Valdez brings extensive capital markets and management experience to this position. He will direct business development activities including relationships with partners in the investment banking industry. Valdez was most recently a partner at Seven Hills Partners, where he established and managed a financial advisory practice for companies in the semiconductor, next gen communications and related technology industries. Previously, Valdez founded the M&A practice at Cowen & Co and was later named head of M&A at SG Cowen. His previous experience also included roles at Kidder, Peabody as the head of West Coast Investment Banking and co-head of the technology practice. Mr. Valdez began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb where he was a senior vice president in the M&A Department. Valdez also served as CFO of Yipes Communications, where he directed financial operations, strategic planning, business development and human resources.

Xpert Financial, Inc. announced that it has hired Jim Anderson as its new President and COO. Anderson brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to Xpert Financial, specifically in the areas of investment banking, commercial banking, and investment management. Most recently at Silicon Valley Bank, Anderson founded and served as president of SVB Analytics.
