Synacor Inc. announced that Andrew Attea has been promoted to the newly-created position of Vice President of Client Operations. Attea, who has served in various management capacities with Synacor since February 2000, will be responsible for creating a team that will be responsible for the deployment of Synacor's core products as well as development and delivery of custom client product requests. Attea's team will work directly with individual cable and IPTV operators, programmers and other customers to address specific product, content and user experience needs that will increase consumer satisfaction. Under Attea, the client operations team will interface with clients and Synacor's account management, sales and marketing teams to expedite product requests. In addition, the unit will be responsible for content publishing to Synacor-created portals.

Synacor Inc. announced the promotion of Ted May to the position of Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Affairs. His new position is a wide-ranging role that includes shaping corporate strategy and identifying and securing the critical partnerships that can accelerate Synacor's success in new market areas. Prior to joining Synacor in 2005, May had distinguished himself as a New Media pioneer in positions with several of the industry's most forward-thinking companies. May served as vice president of broadband with America Online Inc., and was director of strategic planning and vice president of new media with Cablevisions Systems Corp.

Synacor Inc. announced that C.J. Singh has joined the company as vice president of product and engineering. Singh, who will be responsible for creating and executing roadmaps for Synacor's platform and media solutions, joins the company after three years as director of engineering and product development with Yahoo, where he was responsible for the company's development centers in Latin America. Previously, Singh served four years as senior principal engineer with Oracle, where he architected and developed innovative products and researched new technologies for Oracle's E-Business Suite.
