Simpson Thacher & Bartlett announced that Sara Y. Razi will join the Firm's Antitrust Practice as Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office. According to a release, Razi will join the Firm from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), where she has served as the Deputy Assistant Director, Bureau of Competition of the Mergers IV Division since 2010. She also has experience litigating a range of merger challenges in federal court and in administrative proceedings on behalf of the Division. Prior to her government service, Razi was engaged in private practice.
