Tequila Avion announced the appointment of Sam Spencer as the company's VP of Marketing. Sam Spencer comes to the company from consumer products giant Unilever, where he served in various strategic marketing capacities for nine years. He led the launch of Magnum Ice Cream into the U.S. marketplace, managing a 360-degree activation campaign across multiple channels.

Pernod-Ricard SA announced that the signing of a joint venture agreement with the Tequila Avion for the purpose of producing and promoting the ultra-premium tequila brand Avion. Pernod Ricard will hold a minority interest in this joint venture and will be the exclusive worldwide distributor of the brand.
