WildTangent Announces Cross-Platform Games Network

WildTangent announced that WildTangent and its network partners create the cross-platform games network as measured by comScore. WildTangent can now reach more than 168 million total monthly unique visitors globally to its games network and is also the third mobile games network in the US. WildTangent introduced the WildTangent Games mobile service and Android app in 2011, and since then the service has grown steadily. In 2013, WildTangent announced partnerships with manufacturers Sony and ASUS, and mobile carriers AT&T (US) and EE (UK), and has experienced the growth in mobile, An eightfold year-over-year increase in mobile gameplay. WildTangent Studios to Launch Word Science Game

WildTangent Studios announced Word Science, a blitz word spelling game, will launch on January 9, 2014 for iOS App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore and the WildTangent Games mobile games service. In Word Science, players choose letter tiles from a moving conveyor belt to spell words, increasing their score as they practice science in the Von Vocab Laboratory. Each letter tile has a different point value, and players must spell words before time runs out and the lab's power turns off. A variety of power-ups including Spellements, blank tiles or extra time boosts and the ability to speed up the conveyor belt to create a new selection of letters provides a different experience each game round. Before or after game rounds, players may receive opportunities for free power-ups and boosts courtesy of sponsors, provided by WildTangent's advertising platform, BrandBoost. Then, players can post their score to Facebook and compete against friends in a weekly word spelling throwdown.
WildTangent Games Launch on Sony Xperia Smartphones and Tablets Worldwide

WildTangent announced that it has expanded its relationship with Sony Mobile Communications, adding WildTangent Games to selected Xperia(TM) smartphones and tablets. WildTangent has been a Sony partner since September 2011 and the WildTangent Games App is currently pre-installed on VAIO PCs and Sony Tablets S and P in Europe. Now, as Sony continues to drive partnership synergies across its divisions, Sony's Xperia smartphone customers worldwide will have access to WildTangent Games through the Sony Select discovery app, where they access games and can buy, rent or play for free. All Xperia owners who register with WildTangent will receive free WildCoins, WildTangent's proprietary digital currency, to use for renting or buying games, or for purchasing in-game items. Premium games are continually added to the WildTangent service with popular titles including Fruit Ninja and SHADOWGUN, and free-to-play titles Babel Rising 3D and Great Little War Game. Games are updated on the go without the user even needing to visit a traditional app store.
