Tallwave announced that Vickie Wittie has been appointed as the company's chief financial officer effective immediately. In addition, Ed Borromeo, Deric Frost and Jesus Ramirez were named as company vice presidents to complement Tallwave's existing executive team. In concert with the addition of Wittie as CFO, Borromeo, Frost and Ramirez were all internally promoted after serving as stellar directors on the Tallwave team. Ed Borromeo has been named as vice president, Operations and Delivery, after successfully serving in the capacity of director of Venture Management. Borromeo, a former captain in the U.S. Air Force, brings a broad background of strategic planning, program management, organizational and leadership development in diverse industries ranging from startups to utilities to high tech. In his new role, Borromeo will ensure continuity and efficiency as Tallwave executes on client objectives. Deric Frost is promoted to vice president, Client Management. Frost joined Tallwave in February 2013 and most recently served as director, Venture Management. He brings a wealth of experience in operating startups in the music and technology marketing industries. Frost is known for his innovative thinking and ability to mesh the talents of those around him to produce outstanding results for clients. Jesus Ramirez is promoted to vice president, Product, after serving as Tallwave's Product Design director since July of 2013. The advisory board is tasked with assisting Tallwave in selecting healthcare developments that solve immediate problems for the healthcare industry. Tallwave announced retired Intel Chairman of the Board and CEO Craig Barrett, Ph.D. and retired Avnet Chairman of the Board and CEO Roy Vallee, were elected to Tallwave's board of directors at their meeting held April 17. Both senior executives previously held positions on Tallwave's advisory board. Among numerous appointments in education and commerce several are particularly relevant to Tallwave's global vision for lean business entrepreneurship. Chief among these are Dr. Barrett's appointments by the President of the Russian Federation as International co-chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation Council; the Council for Foreign Relations Task Force on U.S. Education Reform and National Security, and the faculty of Thunderbird School of Global Management. Dr. Barrett is also Chair of the Irish Technology Leadership Group. In January 2013, Vallee was named deputy chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's board of directors, a position he still holds. He served on the bank's Economic Advisory Council from 2010 to 2012.
