The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has filed two lawsuits against Kingfisher Airlines Limited in a Mumbai court to recover unpaid airport usage fees worth INR 3 billion.

State Bank of India (BSE:500112), the leader of consortium of lenders to Kingfisher Airlines Limited (BSE:532747), has started scouting for buyers for the Kingfisher brand. "(SBI) is spearheading the entire thing, is also finding out a buyer for the brand Kingfisher which is pledged with us," said Rakesh Sethi, Executive Director of Punjab National Bank (BSE:532461), on the sidelines of the bank's post-earnings conference. Shares of Kingfisher Airlines Ltd. ended at INR 7 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.72%. Shares of SBI ended at INR 2,290, up 1.61%, while the Punjab National Bank scrip was at INR 783.30, up 4.61%.

ICICI Bank and Kingfisher Airlines co-brand Credit Card programme has been discontinued due to discontinuation of Kingfisher Airlines services. As a result, the ICICI Bank Kingfisher Airlines Credit Card will be valid till March 31, 2013. The bank further said it will issue an 'ICICI Bank Platinum Visa Credit Card' to the users of ICICI-Kingfisher card without any annual fees from March 15 onwards with same interest rate and credit limit as that on the existing card. The customers would, however, be free to opt for any other card available with the bank as per their requirements.
