Decision Resources Group Announces a Strategic Channel Alliance with Activate Networks

Decision Resources Group announced that it has signed a strategic channel alliance agreement with Activate Networks, Inc. This expands on a multi-year research collaboration between the two companies and will allow Decision Resources Group to incorporate Activate Networks' proprietary Network Mapping and Physician Influence modeling capabilities into both its expanded Data and Decision Science team and its market-leading analytic solutions for pharmaceutical, medical device and managed care clients. This combination will create the capability, previously unavailable in the life sciences industry, to provide accurate intelligence on which physicians to target for brand launch or ongoing competitive situations. Until now, physician targeting has been based on relatively basic measures such as prescription volume and basic analysis of claims data. This new capability is faster, more accurate and allows for more effective use of resources when launching new products in an increasingly competitive environment. The alliance will further extend the capabilities of the Decision Resources Group Data and Decision Science team, which provides unified data integration solutions, predictive modeling, and 'So What?' analytics to pharmaceutical, medical device, managed care and other life sciences clients. Activate Networks uses proprietary technology, based on patented and patent-pending knowledge from Harvard University, to improve uptake across the brand lifecycle, from pre-launch through brand maturity. By understanding both individual and network characteristics of prescribers, Activate Networks has demonstrated improved targeting leading to dramatically increased sales, as well as increased promotional efficiency.
