The company develops high bandwidth optic transceivers for short distance routing and multiprocessor interconnects for telecom and datacom markets. Alvesta designs and manufactures full-duplex, 10 Gb/s optical transceivers for manufacturers of network infrastructure equipment. The company’s 3100 Optical Transceiver enables the shift from copper cabling to optical interconnect solutions. Alvesta was founded in 1999, and is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California.
