Cypark Resources Berhad has received and accepted a Letter of Award, dated 18 June 2014, for the completion of lake development in respect of the proposed construction and completion of Promenade at Precincts 17 & 19 and remaining works at Promenade Precincts 16 & 18, Putrajaya from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn. Bhd. of Menara PjH, No. 2, Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Precinct 2, 62100 Putrajaya, Malaysia for a sum of MYR 12,267,613.09 for a contract period of eighteen months and expected to be completed by December 2015. The Works will be carried out by CRB's Infrastructure and Construction Division. There are no major risks in relation to the Works, save for the normal construction risk of material price and labour cost fluctuations which are already covered by the Contract Sum.

Cypark Resources Berhad reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended April 30, 2014. For the quarter, revenue was MYR 68,917,373 against MYR 59,239,441 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 17,484,437 against MYR 15,187,905 a year ago. Profit before tax from continuing operations was MYR 14,182,435 against MYR 12,426,779 a year ago. Profit from continuing operations, net of tax and total comprehensive income for the year, attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 13,649,138 or 7.08 sen per diluted share against MYR 10,529,623 or 6.21 sen per diluted share a year ago. The profit before tax decreased mainly due to additional rectification costs incurred for project closure purpose before handover to client in second quarter of 2014 as compared to second quarter of 2013.
For the six months, revenue was MYR 120,380,902 against MYR 110,210,328 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 29,278,484 against MYR 25,298,358 a year ago. Profit before tax from continuing operations was MYR 22,275,987 against MYR 19,473,752 a year ago. Profit from continuing operations, net of tax and total comprehensive income for the year, attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 21,381,362 or 11.09 sen per diluted share against MYR 17,128,909 or 10.09 sen per diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was MYR 3,311,783 against net cash from operating activities of MYR 92,622,948 a year ago. Purchase of plant and equipment was MYR 803,900 against MYR 3,421,846 a year ago. Additions to service concession asset were MYR 59,593,614 against MYR 29,884,896 a year ago. The board of directors of Cypark Resources Berhad announced that CRB had on 20 May 2014, accepted two letters of acceptance, both dated 14 May 2014, in respect of the tenders for the construction of 64 units of Terrace Houses type Begonia (contract no. 1) and 48 units of Terrace Houses type Ballerina (contract no. 2) at Neighbourhood 15, Bandar Dato' Onn, Johor Bahru, Johor Darul Takzim (hereinafter referred to as the works) from Johor Land Berhad for a total sum of MYR 22,300,000 (contract sum) for a contract period of fifteen months and expected to be completed by September 2015. The works will be carried out by CRB's Infrastructure and Construction Division.
