Vodafone Hutchison Australia Pty Ltd Announces Management Changes

The head of Vodafone in Romania has been selected as the new chief executive of the Vodafone Hutchison Australia Pty Ltd. Inaki Berroeta has been president and CEO of the Romanian division since 2010, and will take over as the head of Vodafone Hutchison Australia on March 1, 2014. He will replace Bill Morrow, who at the end of March will take the head role at the company behind the rollout of the national broadband network, NBN Co. Mr. Berroeta was previously the head of Vodafone in Malta, and has held other positions in Spain and the United States.

Bill Morrow to Leave Vodafone Hutchison Australia as Chief Executive Officer

Hutchison Telecommunications Australia Ltd. announced that Mr. Bill Morrow chief executive officer leaves the company in 2014 to take up the role of CEO of NBN Co. Bill Morrow joined VHA in March 2012 with a commitment to stabilise Vodafone Australia's economic performance, fix its network issues and turn around the business. Since then, Bill and the team have completed Vodafone Australia's largest network investment in recent years and implemented a focused commercial strategy to revive the business, win back customers and improve customers' experience.
