Pulsant appointed Nigel Shaw as Chief Operating Officer. Mark Howling, Shaw will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of Pulsant's services, an operation of its solutions and the development of its services platform. Shaw replaces Aydin Kurt-Elli, who founded Lumison as an Internet Service Provider in 1995 and was its CEO until it was acquired by Pulsant in October 2010, when he became COO of the new company. Kurt-Elli remains at Pulsant as a non-executive director. Shaw moves to Pulsant from Hewlett-Packard, where he held various leadership roles and was most recently managing director and vice president of HP Defence UK. Prior to HP he worked for a number of IT and network service providers, as well as several smaller Internet Service Providers.
