Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting Ltd. (WCCLG) intends to look out for acquisition targets in the Philippine market. “There is a huge opportunity yet to be tapped in the Southeast Asian region and the Philippines certainly attract us. This could be the next growth market,” Anil Chugh, Senior Vice-President, WCCLG, told Business Standard. “The Philippines is an important consumer market in Southeast Asia that needs to be tapped. So far, we have forayed into each and every market abroad through acquisitions. And, the Philippines will not be an exception. But, it will take some time. We are yet to study the market fully."

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting Ltd. (WCCL) intends to pursue acquisitions in both domestic and global markets. The company has identified five focus areas for organic growth i.e. personal wash, fragrances, skin care, wellness and domestic lighting.
