Stockwell Communications LLP has appointed Maitland partner Suzanne Bartch as chief operating officer. During her time at Maitland, Bartch advised clients including 3i Group, BAA, Hiscox, Japan Tobacco and The Weir Group, and developed particular expertise in crisis and litigation comms. Bartch spent a decade as a solicitor at Herbert Smith and Vickers before joining Maitland in 2000. She joins StockWell co-founder Philip Gawith at the agency, who was CEO of Maitland until October of last year.

Stockwell Communications LLP has appointed Anthony Silverman as a Partner. Anthony will join from Maitland, where he is a Partner. In recent years, he has advised a number of companies including Cable & Wireless Communications, Close Brothers Group, ICAP, Man Group, SVG Capital and UK Financial Investments. Anthony also has particular expertise in digital and social communications, and worked previously at Finsbury and Powerscourt.
