Fulfilling the ground transportation needs of GGA clients with offices across Europe and Asia, the partnership will enable GGA to provide its clients with a fully-outsourced ground transportation offering, via a vetted network of 700 providers in Europe and an additional 500 in Asia. This provider network will be incorporated into GGA's GDS, CBT and corporate intranet booking tools, giving clients a simple and efficient way to manage or outsource their ground transportation needs around the world. With this partnership, GGA now offers access to nearly 35,000 ground transportation service providers across the United States, Europe and Asia. With a single point of access for booking, MI and invoicing, businesses can better manage or outsource their land transportation needs in terms of cost, environmental concerns and corporate social responsibility. Clients can also apply their travel policies by leveraging "business rules" within the platform.
Sabre Travel Network and Global Ground Automation, Inc. announced the launch of a new black car, limo and airport transfer booking service available through the Sabre Red Workspace. The new offering provides travel agents with convenient access to reputable ground travel service providers who offer global services, and competitive rates and commissions. Through this agreement, Sabre-connected travel agents can shop for and book ground transportation taking into account individual traveler preferences and booking history details. Sabre Red Workspace is a unique new agent platform at the heart of the Sabre Red total travel solution. Built on a future ready, open platform, the Sabre Red Workspace provides agencies with faster start up times, high performance even in low bandwidth areas, rock solid stability and quick and easy access to content, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency. Sabre Red features a range of powerful new capabilities that span the entire spectrum of an agency's business from shopping and booking travel, to serving customers throughout their trip, to using business intelligence for insight and continuous improvement.
