Pulse Systems, Inc. announced its Pulse Complete EHR, version 5.0, has achieved ONC HIT 2014 Edition Complete EHR certification, designating that the software is capable of supporting eligible healthcare providers with meeting the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The Pulse Complete EHR, version 5.0, was certified on October 2, 2014, by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB), and is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Pulse Complete EHR, version 5.0, which meets all 64 clinical quality measures, includes PulseRx 5.0, the most robust medication management solution on the market. Pulse's customizable, 2014 certified EHR solution offers increased patient portal functionality, which is required for Meaningful Use attestation, and flexible workflow management tasking. It enables physician practices to send email invitations (directly from the patient portal demographic screen) to their patient base, and also gives clients the ability to manage complex multi-facility infrastructures within the portal administrator screen. Furthermore, the Pulse Complete EHR solution is also ICD-10 ready. The Pulse Complete EHR, version 5.0, certification number is 140276R00. The additional software Pulse complete EHR, version 5.0, relied upon to comply with one or more of the certification criteria include: First Databank drug database and Medicomp's MEDCIN(R) Clinical Knowledge Engine. Pulse charges a one-time purchase fee and a yearly maintenance for the software. There is a one-time charge to set up each interface and a yearly maintenance fee.
