3VR, Inc. Key Developments
ObjectVideo, Inc. announced that 3VR has joined the growing number of video analytics leaders as licensees of ObjectVideo's patent-portfolio. The agreement gives 3VR a global, portfolio-wide license to the full portfolio of ObjectVideo video analytics patents and ensures 3VR complete freedom to expand and grow its already broad portfolio of Video Intelligence and Automated Monitoring solutions for the life of the agreement.
3VR, Inc. announced the launch of its VisionPoint product suite, which includes a video management software (VMS), enterprise server software and a mobile application to help with investigations, forensic search, case management and business intelligence. VisionPoint VMS combines live viewing, analytics, integrations and video storage into a single intuitive interface. Metadata analytics are integrated, eliminating the need for separate analytic servers or third-party analytic interfaces common to other VMS configurations. The VisionPoint family provides the tools to gather intelligence from videos, perform faster searches of metadata using 3VR's Forensic Search capabilities, and develop useful case files for law enforcement. This software is available in both VisionPoint VMS Standard and VisionPoint VMS Pro versions. VisionPoint VMS Standard supports up to 32 cameras per server. The full-featured VisionPoint VMS Pro supports up to 128 cameras per server and includes archiving, active directory support and real-time health management. VisionPoint Enterprise Server leverages VisionPoint VMS capabilities across the breadth of an enterprise's geographical locations, providing superior suspect or evidence search capabilities. The VisionPoint mobile application allows videos stored on any 3VR system to be accessed via a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet. When a suspect has been captured on numerous cameras or over multiple days, most VMS systems only allow videos to be bookmarked and require each small video snippet to be burned onto separate DVDs. With VisionPoint VMS' Case Manager and Forensic Search's robust metadata search capabilities, each video piece is quickly located and stored into a single case file, along with any notes, forgeries, images or other supporting documents. The entire case file may then be sent to law enforcement for prosecution. If using VisionPoint Enterprise Server, in instances where the suspect has been captured on camera in multiple locations, the case file can be stored on a central server with the ability to include additional videos and evidence. This information can then be accessed from any VisionPoint VMS.
