Osborne Clarke announced the appointment of three new partners. William Gay joined the firm's real estate practice in 2004, and specialises in development of industrial space warehousing. Emily Jones is a specialist technology and privacy lawyer, and qualified with the firm in 2004. Charlie Wedin, who joins the commercial disputes team, previously worked in-house at Southby's.

Osborne Clarke (OC) has confirmed one redundancy following its major move away from outsourcer Integreon, which has resulted in 80 staff members returning to the firm. The switch took place on 1 May 2013 following a consultation process kicked off in March. At the same time, seven Integreon hospitality staff working on matters have transferring to Mitie. Integreon is retaining OC's information services and business intelligence unit and the emergency contact line. The final number of job cuts follows initial expectations that one or two staff would be made redundant.

Osborne Clarke announced the appointment of Keith Bordell as a Partner and head of its London Restructuring and Insolvency team, effective May 1, 2013. He joins the firm from Speechly Bircham, prior to which, for 10 years, he headed the Corporate Recovery group at Travers Smith. Keith's appointment will bring OC's total UK Partners to 100 spread across its international headquarters in London and its offices in Reading and Bristol.
