PiiComm Inc. and Stratix Corporation announced a strategic partnership to facilitate each company's ability to support businesses who have operations in both Canada and the United States. The companies have completed the necessary systems integration to enable the support of their clients immediately. The first customer projects were launched last month and will provide the deployment and ongoing support for thousands of rugged handheld mobile computers.

Stratix Corporation announced it has appointed Kevin Paolino as Vice President of Sales. Kevin has extensive experience in the successful transformation of sales organizations focused on expansion in services and software products across both geographical and vertical markets.Prior to joining Stratix, Kevin held Sales leadership roles across technology organizations such as Xircom, Intel, Symbol and Reflexis. Most recently, Kevin was the VP of Sales at Blue Cat Networks where he led the top producing business unit across the United States and Latin America. Stratix also announced that Peter Dalpe will be taking on new responsibilities, overseeing the Managed Services Go-To-Market strategy and sales effort. Directing the design, packaging and positioning of its Managed Services offerings inclusive of Life Cycle Management (LCM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and the strategic support offerings for the increasingly growing consumer-grade devices in the enterprise.

Stratix Corporation announced an all-time record growth in the first half of 2011, reporting a 59% revenue increase over the first half of 2010. This momentum follows an expansion of the company's mobile managed services offering to include full lifecycle support for enterprise customers running line-of-business applications on both rugged and consumer device platforms, including iOS, Android and Windows.
