FERC grant Southern Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (Southern's) June 7, 2013 request, to place into service the North Main Loop Line Project facilities located in Calhoun and Cleburne Counties, Alabama. Request is in compliance with condition 9 of the Commission's September 26, 2013 Order Issuing Certificate (Order) issued in the CP12-112-000 referenced docket. Based on the photographs filed by Southern on June 7, 2013 and a supplement filed by Southern dated June 19, 2013, the company has adequately stabilized areas disturbed by construction and that restoration is proceeding satisfactorily.

The U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued the order to Southern Natural Gas Company, LLC. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission granted Southern Natural Gas Company, LLC March 27, 2013 request to add five feet of additional width to the north side of the existing temporary workspace from station numbers 0+00 to 113+80 along the B-Line. This variance is necessary to accommodate spoil pile storage for the pipeline construction in areas of steep topography and to enhance safety by eliminating construction activities over existing pipeline. FERC confirmed that Southern has received all necessary federal authorizations and clearances relevant to the approved activities herein.
