Submitted on 27 June 2013, Groupe Otto's takeover bid for the BtoC e-commerce, e-commerce services and Otto Office activities (outside France) was accepted on 18 September by the Groupe 3SI board of directors. Consequently, as of 1 January 2014, the existing Groupe 3SI will generate two new entities: 3SI Holding and Argosyn. This new structure sees the following e-commerce and e-commerce service companies (3 Pagen, 3 Suisses, Becquet, Blancheporte, Excédence, Helline, LeChouchou, Magnet, Saint Brice, Unigro, Venca, Vitrine Magique, Witt International, CitéNumérique, Dispeo, Mezzo, Mondial Relay and Taylormail) consolidated into a new French entity owned by the Otto group under the name of 3SI Holding SAS. The remaining companies (Bruneau, Contentia and Direxi), capital assets and investment in Cofidis Participations will remain within the existing company, which will assume the name of Argosyn. This new group will continue to be jointly owned by the Otto group and Fipar. Denis Terrien will be its Chairman and assume overall responsibility for managing the new 3SI group. Eric Platiau, the current financial director and assistant director of financial service activities, will take on the role of CEO at Argosyn.
