Aica Kogyo Reportedly Buys Dynea For ¥15 Billion

The Nikkei said that Aica Kogyo Company, Limited is buying Dynea Oy for ¥15 billion. Aica Kogyo is expected to announce the deal later in the day. Under the deal, Dynea will split off its Asia-Pacific unit and Aica Kogyo will acquire all outstanding shares in it. The Japanese side will then turn the unit into a consolidated subsidiary.
Metafrax Reportedly to Acquire MetaDynea and Karbolit

JSC Metafrax is reportedly seeking to acquire stakes in Z.A.O. MetaDynea and Karbolit Joint Stock Co. from Dynea Oy, Kommersant said. The deal is valued at $30.375 million. Later, Metafrax intends to merge both and to increase their operating load from 65% to 100%. The deal will be structured in two stages. Dynea Chemicals has already sold its shares to the Panama offshore Kirsis Inc, from which Metafrax will buy them in October 2012, Kommersant added. Metafrax shareholders will consider approving the transaction with Kirsis Incorporation at their extraordinary meeting to be held on October 29, 2012.
